It's hard to take a "bad" picture of a beautiful person and the model is obviously lovely. That being said, we sort of expect sexy people do sexy things and a partially dressed, exceptionally gorgeous woman, despite the excellent image quality and composition, is just that. Her expression is something of a mixture of somnolent ecstasy and the implementation of black and white gives the picture a high degree of classiness, now if I may, take it or leave it, but it would be cool to see a surpassingly lovely woman doing *something* other than just being sexy. For Black and white, perhaps playing chess, or walking in a forest. I dunno, just my two cents. I really enjoy your work and appreciate you sharing it, as always I look forward to what comes next.
As a post script, it was purely accident I am sure, but I thought it was cool that her hair forms a star on her left cheek.
Well no it's not hard to take a bad picture of a beautiful person. I mean yes this person will always look beautiful, but what about the rest? The lighting, the framing etc...I am not the only photographer that has worked with Anna, *Piddling has worked with her too and I believe has taken some great, propably better than mine shots of her, and there are other photographers outside DA, that their photos with her look like candid shots. But yes she always look gorgeous no matter what. I understand what you say that you'd like to see a lovely woman do something else but what if being sexy is what comes to her naturaly? why change that? There are other models that no matter how good they look can't be sexy, let them walk in the forest!
I have written and re-written five responses now, and deleted them all. I admit, I am not the most adept critic of photography, as I am a mediocre photographer. The picture looks great to me, but my qualification is that of a male, drawn to the allure of a lovely female.
My suggestion stems from an interest in seeing a context to this rare creature to which I could relate. Sexy, as you accurately observed, is her domain, but is not mine. My sincere thanks for thoughtful your response and congratulations on an excellent photo!
